About Me

I love arts & crafts. I started off with paper plates, glitter, and beans, and now I've moved on to the "pro-grade" stuff - like graphic design and web application development. I've been freelancing in graphic design on the side for 12 years while working full time in the print industry, motion pictures, and most recently as a business intelligence analyst. The BI analyst crafts weren't quite as sparkly, but database maintenance and process automation are their own reward.
Last year I decided to shift my focus from business intelligence to web application development. To that end, I'm finishing up a Web Dev ATA at EDCC. I'll have that wrapped up by August 2014, and soon I'll be riding PHP like a show pony, jumping jQuery through burning hoops, and taming wild CSS.
My passion for making amazing things has never dimmed, I've just got much fancier tools now. (Coincidentally, I'm still wicked awesome with glitter and paper plates)
