Sketching:

I acquired this skill quite randomly. It so happened is I just wanted to sketch after I came across a picture; one of my friends had sketched. I realized that it is a great way to share the detail one starts seeing. The flow, delicacy, precision, and the mood of the person who does the sketches.

Hiking:

Fortunately, I am in one of most beautiful states. On one side the Puget Sound on the other, there are the cascades. To north, there is Mt. Baker and to west, there is Mt. Rainer. This makes it a very nice spot to do several types of hiking. To go on Mt. Constitution and witness sunset and moonrise is a site well worth the climb. Surrounded by flora and fauna is something which is delighting. For this, I do not have to go far. There are several sites that I have found quite helpful.

Stargazing:

This is something I have always done since childhood. For what reason I know not I have always admired the diamonds in evening sky. They have a spark that fills my being from head to toe. Around this time, my favorite group of stars show up. They are known as seven sisters. I do not want get in to the science of if but I will add that they are surrounded by a cloud of glasses that reflect light. In Greek mythology, the Pleiades were seven sisters: Maia, Electra, Alcyone, Taygete, Asterope, Celaeno and Merope.
