There are so many things that interest me, that there is simply no way to address it all. Also, I believe I am a little bit ADD as well as OCD, BPD, and a few other silly little letter-combinations. The point is that this page is just scratching surface of what interests me. I can only hope that what I lay out here for you remains interesting while being somewhat organized. Here goes!

Family:
I love my spouse more than anything. Her three boys mean the world to me. They've totally accepted me and our marriage (and sometimes brag about their awesome Moms ). My six boys are also always in my heart, even though there is so much distance and difference between us. Of them, one is in the army reserve, one is in army active, one is awaiting boot camp (he's just entered the army reserves), and another is attending Eastern Washington University. I'm so proud of all nine of them!

College:
My secondary interest is my higher education, which is never-ending. I am rather proud of achieving a bachelor's in business administration, a certificate in accounting, and am finishing an associate's in web application development. Although my academics started out as personal skill improvement, I love my new job that features all of my accolades!

Religion:
I don't broadcast, but I am Wiccan. Yes, my dad raised me as a Lutheran; but I followed the pathway that I simply call "the Way" which my mom laid out before me. Yes, I can agree with and do follow the New Testament and Jesus as the amazing teacher that he was/is/always will be. As for Deity, however, I choose to revere Mother Nature as well as Heavenly Father.

Work:
I currently work for Seattle Valued Investment Properties, Inc., an awesome company that owns a number of businesses (which I am involved in all facets). My primary position is Executive Project Manager, as I research and write business plans for new land and business development projects. I also manage the year-round office and clientele for its subsidiary Jackson Hewitt Silver Lake (as well as conduct full-time tax preparation during tax season). I also assist in various facets of management of certain commercial properties. All in all, a very wonderful occupation-set for me.

Activism:
Another personal interest of mine is advocacy for the GLBTQ Community, specifically two organizations: The Empire of Dreams and the Washington Gender Alliance.

  1. The "Imperial Sovereign Court of Snohomish County, Empire of Dreams" is a fun, non-profit organization that entertains local communities with fundraising events which benefit local charities. I've served as a Member of the Board of Directors, as Queen of Hearts 2009-2010, as Miss Gay Everett 2010-2011, and currently as Imperial Princess 2011-2012.

    • My favorite charity to raise funds for is the local chapter of the "American Cancer Society" in honor of my mother-in-law.
    • My favorite annual GLBTQ events are the various Prides (I attend Seattle every June as well as Vancouver (WA) and Bellingham every July.

  2. The Washington Gender Alliance is an organization that leads support groups in Bellingham and Everett as well as provides public presentations (for organizations such as schools) to promote acceptance of transgender, intersex, and gender variant indivuals. I am a Member of the Board of Directors of its parent organization, the "Pacific Gender Institute", and I also provide social network administration and web development services.

Music:
My spouse and I have a passion for country concerts. Although I personally enjoy most dance/pop/classic rock music and anything 80's as well, country puts on a much better live show. In fact, we have also met a large number of musicians (Uncle Kracker, Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson, Trace Adkins, and The Band Perry; just to name a few). It is simply really awesome to be an unofficial groupie for 100.7 The Wolf! In fact, we seem to get invited to all of the "special invite" presentations now! We also love karaoke, which is why I have one of my old sound systems (I used to be a DJ) set up in our living room for our family's singing party pleasure.

So, now that you know of the primary "forces" that currently motivate my life. They may be a whole lot (perhaps too much), but I love that fact that I am living life and not just watching it. I hope that you do too!
