Microsoft's Visual Studio

In this course, CS 155, we learned to use Microsoft's Visual Studio to write code for games, calculators, a Hotel Occupancy program and a lot of other fun stuff.

We then learned how to retrieve this information and display it in HTML. It was way cool! We used the appropriate script, client-side or server-side and completed an interactive website. We were assigned weekly projects to take home and write the code in Visual Studio and then submit each week for review. I did very well on the weekly projects and got an “A's” on my programs!

My Summary of Introduction to Programming, CS 115

This course was an intense course in programming and I learned a lot. The projects in Visual Studio, like the Retail Price Calculator shown, was engaging and challenging.

As you may tell from my grade point average I had to work very hard to take in all the instruction and apply it. I did very well on the weekly projects, writing the code in Visual Studio, and getting the program to run with all the bell and whistles. The weekly quizzes and tests were difficult for me but I always Passed.
