My Personal Zine

My Personal Zine

The sleek, modern look of Swiss Design style is also known as International Style.

It is simple, legible and objective. It has been the basis of the most popular designs created during most of the twentieth century and into the twenty-first. The elements and principles of graphic design have given me a new perspective on the mindful thought processes used during design. The principles of patterns, grids, balance, hierarchy, proportion, rhythm and emphasis has opened my eyes to the world of graphic design. I am now learning from and critiquing all the logos and graphics I see everywhere, every day.

My Summary of Graphic Design, ART 225

Wow, how fun was that! I learned so much and had so much fun learning. I became quite proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite including InDesign and Dreamweaver WSIWYG.

I really enjoyed our instructor and I really flourished in the creative environment of the classroom. I had never had the opportunity to work in a Mac environment before and I fell in love with the computers in the lab! Learning together with all the creative artists and all the talent I was surrounded by was just an experience I'll never forget. I will return in the following quarters to obtain my Certificate of Completion in Graphic Design.
