Paul Fischetti has attended Edmonds Community College starting in 2013 to pursue a degree in Network Technology and Web Development.
I was bon in 1968 in Up-State New York. My parents have always encouraged me in my interests. I have always been involved in computers and electronics. Even as a kid. I had a electronics kits from Radio Shack. I would spent hours working putting together wiring diagrams, just to be able to make circuit that would make a buzzer. For my birthday, my parents bought an AM radio kit.
For most of the 1990's, as a hobby, I had collected, repaired and programmed computers. I often would work all night and into another day, forgetting the time, working on my home computers. A local business allowed me purchase dozens of broken machines which I would strip down and rebuild, in my apartment. Eventually building an entire network and later hosting my own network services.
Around 1998, I noticed a job opening for network technician and applied. I was hired. No degree. Just, the experience I had gained building computers, programming them and in the late 90's, networking those computer together, had landed me a job.
I found myself being hired from one networking job to another. Gaining hands on experience touch more and more
equipment, and was allowed access to data-centers and even spent time on a hotel PBX. In 2000, I landed at at SUN Microsystems as a Database Administrator.
During the next 3 years, I worked at SUN Microsystems. I was exposed to corporate management and found a new ideal and goals in my life. In 2004, I started my own computer business.
Since 2004, I have been the owner and operator of a computer networking business. I have been very successful running my own networking company. It has allowed access to many technologies, from networking, to computer programming, web design, graphics design, and included countless hours, building and maintaining computer and laptops for 1000’s of customer in the greater Seattle, Washington area.
After, more than 25 years, I have returned to complete my degree.

Associate in Technical Arts
Network Technology
Certificate in Web Development.
