Description:

Igneous Rocks are are formed either underground or above ground. The form underground when melted rocks or known as magma, becomes trapped in small pockets. As the pockets of magma cool slowly, the magma turns into a igeneous rock. The same process can happen when a volcanoe erupts. When the magma rises above the earths surface its is called lava. Igneous Rocks are formed as the lava cools above ground.
