The first course in a series of Cisco networking courses. Some of the lessons include understanding how networks work within routers, switches and other devices. The course is taught via in calss instruction, lab time with Cisco eqipment, and online through Cisco's own learning environment.
This course was an elective course I took to get some familiarity with metwork administration, as I wanted to be able to communicate on some level with Network Professionals. I learned the basics of routers, switches, hubs, connections, end devices, as well as LAN's and WAN's. I learned about IP addressing and how information is routed and transported. There was classroom instruction, hands on lessons in the lab, as well as online training through the Cisco Academy.

What I felt to be the best training and learning experience were the packet tracers and exams through the Cisco Academy. Click on the links below to see an example of each.
