My name is Brendan Jones. I take classes at EdCC because I couldn't find any job openings in Material Science that didn't require 3-5 years of experience plus a bachelor's degree. I'm currently going through a 2-year Web Design degree at EdCC, and hope to find a job that allows me to travel once I graduate. If that fails, I'll just work to fund extended vacations for myself between jobs.

I'm currently finishing the class "CIS 241 - Web Developent I" because it was a required course for the degree. It was the first class I've taken so far that I truly enjoyed. The previous classes I've had to take for this degree didn't appeal to me and/or were above my skill level. In contrast, this class was both interesting and within my skill level.

When I'm not being a student I hang out with friends, playing D&D and shooting each other with Nerf guns, practice coding Python for a video game, and run and jump around at the local park. I have many other interests, and if you're interested you can click on the "Interests" link for more information.
